Mount Rinjani National Park

Mount Rinjani National Park (Lombok) is one type of ecosystem with mountainous rain forest and savanna located on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. TNGR designated as a National Park area through the Decree of the Minister of Forestry No.280/Kpts-II/1997 with extensive field 40.000hA although the extent of more than 41.000 ha.

TNGR have a variety of flora, among others; Jelatang (Laportea stimulant), Dedurenan (Aglaea Argentea), Pterospermum (Pterospermum javanicum), banyan (Ficus benjamina), Guava-jambuan (Syzygium sp) Keruing (Dipterocarpus hasseltii), Rerau (D. imbricatus) , Mountain Pines (Casuarina Junghuniana) Eidelweis (Anaphalis javanica) and several kinds of orchids are endemic forest and P. Lombokensis Perisstylus Rinjaniensis. While the variety of fauna which is owned by TNGR among others; Weasel Rinjani (Paradoxurus Hemaprhoditus Rinjanicus), Deer (Muntiacus muntjak Nainggolani), Javan Lutung (Trachypithecus Auratus Kohlbruggei), pangolin (Manis javanicus), birds Cikukua Horn (Philemon Buceroides Neglectus), Dawah Forest (Ducula Lacernulata Sasakensis), Black nape orioles (Oriolus chinensis Broderipii) and several species of reptiles, plus a number of freshwater fish species that live in the lake Segara Anak, among others; Mujair and Carp.
